Key Features

Automatic Bed Leveling

The built-in sensor automatically detects and compensates for bed unevenness, ensuring perfect first layer adhesion every time.

Removable Build Plate

Flexible build plate allows for easy print removal without damaging prints or the build surface.

Filament Runout Detection

Smart sensor pauses printing when filament runs out, allowing you to resume printing after reloading.

HEPA Filter System

Built-in HEPA filter reduces ultrafine particles and odors during printing, making it safer for indoor use.

Cloud Printing

Connect via Flashforge Cloud to monitor and control prints remotely from your smartphone or computer.

Quiet Operation

Stepper motor drivers and optimized mechanics reduce operational noise to below 50 dB.

Printing Technology Explained

FDM/FFF Technology

Fused Deposition Modeling uses thermoplastic filament to build objects layer by layer

Direct Drive Extruder

Improved filament control for flexible materials and better retraction

Heated Build Chamber

Maintains consistent temperature for better ABS and engineering material prints

Power Recovery

Automatically resumes printing after power interruption

Camera Monitoring

Built-in camera for remote print monitoring and time-lapse creation

Dual Gear Extrusion

Precise filament feeding with reduced risk of slipping or grinding

Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Printer won't start Power issue, safety switch engaged Check power supply, ensure door is closed properly
Poor first layer adhesion Bed not level, incorrect nozzle height Re-level bed, adjust Z-offset, clean build surface
Filament not extruding Nozzle clogged, extruder gear slipping Clean nozzle, check extruder tension, increase temperature
Layer shifting Belt tension, mechanical obstruction Check belt tension, ensure smooth movement of all axes
Stringing/oozing Retraction settings, temperature too high Adjust retraction settings, lower printing temperature
Warping/corner lift Bed temperature, cooling, adhesion Increase bed temperature, use brim/raft, ensure clean bed

Error Codes

  • E01: Heating failed - Check thermistor and heater cartridge
  • E02: Temperature runaway - Check cooling and thermal system
  • E03: Bed heating failed - Check bed thermistor and heater
  • E04: Filament runout - Reload filament and resume
  • E05: Motor stall - Check for mechanical obstruction
  • E06: Communication error - Restart printer and software
