Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Hex wrenches (included)
  • Phillips screwdriver
  • Spanner
  • Pliers
  • Leveling card or paper

Step-by-Step Assembly

  1. Unpack and Check Components: Carefully unpack all parts and verify against the parts list in the manual.
  2. Assemble Frame: Connect the vertical aluminum extrusions to the base frame using provided bolts and wrenches.
  3. Install Z-axis: Mount the Z-axis lead screw and motor to the vertical frame, ensuring smooth movement.
  4. Mount X-axis Gantry: Attach the X-axis gantry with the extruder assembly to the vertical frame.
  5. Install Print Bed: Secure the heated bed to the Y-axis carriage and attach the Y-axis belt.
  6. Connect Electronics: Route and connect all cables to the main control board following the wiring diagram.
  7. Level the Bed: Use the manual leveling knobs to adjust all four corners until the nozzle just touches a piece of paper.
  8. Test Run: Perform a test print to verify proper assembly and calibration.
Warning: Ensure all electrical connections are secure before powering on. Keep hands away from moving parts during operation.

Key Features

Resume Printing Function

Automatically saves print progress in case of power failure, allowing you to resume printing from the last layer when power is restored.

Carborundum Glass Platform

Ultra-smooth tempered glass build plate with special coating provides excellent adhesion during printing and easy removal after cooling.

MeanWell Power Supply

High-quality UL-certified power supply ensures stable voltage output and safe operation during long printing sessions.

V-Slot Aluminum Profile

Precision aluminum extrusion frame provides excellent stability and rigidity for consistent print quality.

Silent Motherboard

TMC2208 stepper drivers significantly reduce motor noise during operation, making it suitable for home and office environments.

Filament Runout Sensor

Detects when filament runs out and pauses printing, allowing you to reload filament without losing the print.

Printing Materials Compatibility

PLA

Easy to print, low warping, ideal for beginners and general purpose prints

ABS

Durable and heat resistant, requires heated bed and enclosure for best results

PETG

Strong and flexible, combines ease of PLA with durability of ABS

TPU

Flexible filament for rubber-like parts, requires slow printing speeds

Wood PLA

Composite filament with wood fibers for realistic wooden appearance

Carbon Fiber

Reinforced filament for extra strength and stiffness, requires hardened nozzle

Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Printer won't power on Power switch off, loose cable, faulty power supply Check power switch, ensure all cables are secure, test outlet
Filament not extruding Nozzle clogged, extruder gear slipping, wrong temperature Clean nozzle, check extruder tension, verify temperature settings
Poor bed adhesion Unlevel bed, dirty build surface, wrong bed temperature Re-level bed, clean with isopropyl alcohol, adjust bed temperature
Layer shifting Loose belts, mechanical obstruction, overheating drivers Tighten belts, check for obstructions, improve cooling
Stringing/oozing Retraction settings incorrect, temperature too high Adjust retraction distance and speed, lower nozzle temperature
Warped corners Uneven cooling, bed temperature too low, draft Use enclosure, increase bed temperature, avoid drafts

Common Error Messages

  • THERMAL RUNAWAY: Temperature control issue - Check thermistor and heater connections
  • HOMING FAILED: Endstop not triggered - Check endstop switches and wiring
  • HEATING FAILED: Heater not reaching temperature - Check heater cartridge and power
  • FILAMENT RUNOUT: No filament detected - Reload filament or disable sensor
  • SD CARD ERROR: Card not readable - Format card or try different one
  • MAXTEMP ERROR: Temperature exceeded limit - Check thermistor wiring
