Key Features
Upgraded Extruder
Features an all-metal extruder with improved feeding mechanism for consistent filament flow and reduced clogging issues.
Magnetic Build Plate
Removable magnetic build surface allows for easy print removal and flexible bed adhesion options.
Silent Mainboard
Equipped with silent stepper drivers (TMC2208/TMC2225) for quiet operation without sacrificing performance.
Resume Print Function
Automatically saves print progress and can resume printing after power failure, preventing wasted filament and time.
Filament Runout Sensor
Detects when filament runs out and pauses printing, allowing for filament change without losing progress.
Carborundum Glass Plate
Upgraded textured glass build plate provides excellent adhesion while printing and easy release when cooled.
Printing Capabilities
PLA Printing
Optimal for beginners with easy adhesion and minimal warping at 200-220°C
ABS Printing
Requires heated bed (80-100°C) and enclosure for best results with minimal warping
PETG Printing
Excellent layer adhesion and durability at 230-250°C with 70-80°C bed temperature
TPU Printing
Flexible filament printing with direct drive-like performance from Bowden setup
Wood Filament
Specialty filaments containing wood particles for unique finish and appearance
High-Speed Drafts
Quick prototype printing at 100-150 mm/s with 0.3mm layer height
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Printer won't power on | Power supply issue, loose connections | Check power cable, verify voltage switch position, check all connections |
| Poor first layer adhesion | Bed not level, wrong nozzle height, dirty bed | Re-level bed, adjust Z-offset, clean bed with isopropyl alcohol |
| Filament not extruding | Clogged nozzle, extruder gear slipping, wrong temperature | Perform cold pull, check extruder tension, verify temperature settings |
| Layer shifting | Belt tension, mechanical obstruction, overheating drivers | Tighten belts, check for obstructions, ensure proper cooling |
| Stringing/oozing | Retraction settings, temperature too high, travel speed | Adjust retraction distance/speed, lower temperature, increase travel speed |
| Warped corners | Bed temperature, cooling, adhesion issues | Increase bed temperature, use brim/raft, ensure proper bed leveling |
Common Error Messages
- Thermal Runaway: Heater malfunction - Check thermistor and heater cartridge connections
- Heating Failed: Hotend not reaching temperature - Check heater cartridge and wiring
- Max Temp Error: Temperature reading too high - Check thermistor for damage
- Min Temp Error: Temperature reading too low - Check thermistor connection
- Homing Failed: Endstop not triggered - Check endstop switches and wiring
- Filament Runout: Sensor triggered - Load new filament or bypass sensor
