Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Printer won't power on | Power switch off, loose cable, faulty power supply | Check power switch, ensure all cables are connected securely |
| Poor bed adhesion | Unlevel bed, dirty surface, incorrect temperature | Re-level bed, clean with isopropyl alcohol, adjust bed temperature |
| Extruder clicking | Nozzle clog, extruder tension too tight, low temperature | Clean nozzle, adjust extruder tension, increase temperature |
| Layer shifting | Loose belts, mechanical obstruction, overheating drivers | Tighten belts, check for obstructions, ensure proper cooling |
| Stringing/oozing | Retraction settings incorrect, temperature too high | Adjust retraction settings, lower printing temperature |
| Warped prints | Uneven cooling, draft, bed temperature too low | Use enclosure, increase bed temperature, use brim/raft |
Common Error Messages
- Thermal Runaway: Heater malfunction - Check thermistor and heater cartridge
- Heating Failed: Heater not reaching temperature - Check wiring and power supply
- Axis Homing Failed: Endstop not triggered - Check endstop switches and wiring
- Filament Runout: Filament sensor triggered - Reload filament
- SD Card Error: Card not detected - Reformat SD card or try different card
- Over-temperature: Temperature exceeds safety limit - Allow to cool and restart
