Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Hex wrenches (included)
  • Spanner
  • Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
  • Pliers
  • Leveling card or paper

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Unbox and Check Components: Carefully unbox all components and verify all parts are present according to the parts list.
  2. Assemble Frame: Connect the vertical aluminum extrusions to the base frame using the provided screws and brackets.
  3. Install X-Axis: Mount the X-axis gantry to the vertical extrusions, ensuring smooth movement without binding.
  4. Install Print Bed: Attach the heated bed to the Y-axis carriage, ensuring it's securely fastened.
  5. Install Extruder Assembly: Mount the hotend and extruder assembly to the X-axis gantry.
  6. Connect Electronics: Route and connect all cables to the main control board following the wiring diagram.
  7. Level the Bed: Use the manual leveling knobs or auto-leveling feature to ensure the print bed is perfectly level.
  8. Test Run: Perform a test print to verify proper operation and calibration.
Warning: Ensure proper electrical grounding and keep the printer on a stable, level surface away from flammable materials.

Key Features

Direct Drive Extruder

The direct drive extruder provides precise filament control, enabling better printing of flexible materials and reducing stringing with retraction-sensitive filaments.

Auto Bed Leveling

CR-Touch auto bed leveling sensor automatically measures multiple points on the print bed to ensure perfect first layer adhesion across the entire build surface.

Silent Motherboard

Equipped with silent stepper drivers (TMC2208/TMC2225) that significantly reduce operational noise while maintaining precise motor control.

Carborundum Glass Bed

Premium textured glass build plate provides excellent adhesion when hot and easy print removal when cool, ensuring successful prints every time.

Resume Print Function

Power failure recovery feature automatically saves print progress and resumes printing from the last layer when power is restored.

High-Speed Printing

Optimized kinematics and improved cooling allow for printing speeds up to 180 mm/s while maintaining excellent print quality.

Printing Technologies Explained

PLA Printing

Ideal for beginners, prints at 200-220°C with excellent detail and minimal warping

ABS Printing

Requires enclosed space, prints at 230-250°C with high strength and temperature resistance

PETG Printing

Combines PLA ease with ABS strength, prints at 230-250°C with good layer adhesion

TPU Printing

Flexible filament printing requires slow speeds and direct drive extruder for best results

High-Speed Mode

Optimized settings for rapid prototyping with acceptable quality reduction

High-Quality Mode

Slower printing with maximum detail and surface finish quality

Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Printer won't start Power issue, faulty power supply Check power cable connection, verify power switch is on
Poor bed adhesion Unlevel bed, dirty build surface, incorrect temperature Re-level bed, clean with isopropyl alcohol, adjust bed temperature
Extruder clicking Nozzle clog, extruder tension too high, printing too cold Clean nozzle, adjust extruder tension, increase hotend temperature
Layer shifting Belt tension, mechanical obstruction, overheating drivers Check belt tension, ensure smooth movement, improve cooling
Stringing/oozing Retraction settings, printing temperature too high Adjust retraction distance and speed, lower printing temperature
Under-extrusion Clogged nozzle, extruder skipping, incorrect filament diameter Clean nozzle, check extruder gear, verify filament settings

Error Codes

  • E1: Hotend temperature error - Check thermistor connection
  • E2: Bed temperature error - Check bed thermistor
  • E3: Thermal runaway - Check heating elements and cooling
  • E4: Power loss - Check power supply and connections
  • E5: SD card error - Format SD card or replace
  • E6: Motor error - Check stepper motor connections
