Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Hex wrenches (included)
  • Spanner (included)
  • Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
  • Pliers
  • Leveling card or paper

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Unpack and Check Components: Carefully unpack all parts and verify all components are present according to the parts list.
  2. Assemble Frame: Connect the vertical aluminum extrusions to the base frame using the provided screws and brackets.
  3. Install X-Axis: Mount the X-axis gantry to the vertical extrusions, ensuring it moves smoothly without binding.
  4. Install Print Bed: Attach the heated bed to the Y-axis carriage and secure with the provided clips.
  5. Install Extruder Assembly: Mount the hotend and extruder assembly to the X-axis carriage.
  6. Connect Electronics: Route and connect all cables to the main control board following the wiring diagram.
  7. Level the Bed: Use the manual leveling knobs to level the print bed at all four corners.
  8. Test Run: Power on the printer and run initial calibration tests to ensure proper operation.
Warning: Ensure proper electrical grounding and keep the printer on a stable, level surface. First-time setup should be performed carefully following all instructions.

Key Features

Large Build Volume

300×300×340mm build volume allows printing of large models or multiple smaller models in a single print job, perfect for cosplay, prototypes, and functional parts.

Resume Print Function

Automatically saves print progress. In case of power failure, the printer can resume printing from the last layer, preventing print failures and material waste.

Carborundum Glass Platform

Ultra-flat tempered glass build plate with special coating provides excellent adhesion during printing and easy removal once cooled.

MeanWell Power Supply

High-quality 24V MeanWell power supply ensures stable voltage output, improving print quality and extending component lifespan.

Upgraded Extruder

All-metal extruder with upgraded feeding mechanism provides consistent filament flow and reduced clogging issues.

Silent Motherboard

TMC2208 silent stepper drivers reduce operational noise to below 50dB, allowing for quiet operation in home or office environments.

Printing Technology Explained

FDM Technology

Fused Deposition Modeling melts thermoplastic filament and deposits it layer by layer to create three-dimensional objects.

Precision Motion

V-slot wheels and precision linear rails ensure smooth and accurate movement on all axes for high-quality prints.

Thermal Management

Advanced heating system with PID temperature control maintains consistent temperatures for reliable printing.

Filament Detection

Optional filament runout sensor pauses printing when filament is exhausted, allowing for filament changes without losing progress.

Bed Leveling

Manual bed leveling with four-point adjustment ensures perfect first layer adhesion across the entire build surface.

Connectivity Options

SD card, USB, and optional Wi-Fi connectivity provide multiple ways to transfer print files to the printer.

Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Printer won't start Power issue, main switch off, faulty connection Check power supply, ensure main switch is on, check all connections
Poor first layer adhesion Bed not level, nozzle too high, bed temperature too low Re-level bed, adjust Z-offset, increase bed temperature
Filament not extruding Nozzle clogged, extruder gear slipping, filament tangled Clean nozzle, check extruder tension, ensure filament spool rotates freely
Layer shifting Belt tension loose, mechanical obstruction, overheating drivers Tighten belts, check for obstructions, ensure proper cooling
Stringing/oozing Retraction settings incorrect, temperature too high Adjust retraction settings, lower printing temperature
Warping Bed temperature uneven, cooling too fast, draft in room Increase bed temperature, use enclosure, avoid drafts

Common Error Messages

  • Thermal Runaway: Heating issue detected - Check thermistor and heater connections
  • Heating Failed: Hotend not reaching temperature - Check heater cartridge and wiring
  • Min Temp Error: Temperature reading too low - Check thermistor connection
  • Max Temp Error: Temperature reading too high - Check thermistor and cooling
  • Homing Failed: Axis not homing properly - Check endstops and wiring
  • Filament Runout: Filament sensor triggered - Load new filament
