Tools Needed:

  • Hex wrenches (included)
  • Spanner wrench
  • Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
  • Pliers
  • Leveling gauge

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Unpack and Check Components: Carefully unpack all parts and verify against the parts list in the manual.
  2. Assemble Frame: Connect the vertical aluminum extrusions to the base frame using the provided screws and brackets.
  3. Install Z-axis: Mount the Z-axis lead screw and stepper motor to the vertical frame.
  4. Install X-axis: Attach the X-axis gantry with the extruder assembly to the vertical frame.
  5. Install Y-axis: Mount the heated bed to the Y-axis carriage and install the belt system.
  6. Electrical Connections: Connect all stepper motors, endstops, heated bed, and hotend to the main control board.
  7. Level the Bed: Use the manual leveling knobs to level the print bed at all four corners.
  8. Test Run: Perform initial calibration and test print to verify proper operation.
Warning: Ensure proper electrical grounding and follow all safety precautions during installation to prevent injury or damage.

Key Features

Meanwell Power Supply

High-quality UL certified power supply provides stable voltage output and enhanced safety for reliable 24/7 printing operations.

Carborundum Glass Platform

Ultra-flat tempered glass build plate with special coating provides excellent adhesion and easy print removal after cooling.

Resume Print Function

Automatically saves print progress during power outages, allowing prints to resume from the last recorded position when power is restored.

Upgraded Extruder

All-metal extruder with improved feeding mechanism provides better filament grip and reduces clogging issues.

V-Slot Aluminum Profile

High-precision aluminum extrusion frame with integrated V-slot wheels ensures smooth movement and excellent structural stability.

Magnetic Build Surface

Removable magnetic build plate allows for easy print removal and quick surface replacement when needed.

Printing Technology Explained

FDM Technology

Fused Deposition Modeling melts thermoplastic filament and deposits it layer by layer to create 3D objects.

Bowden Extruder

Lightweight extruder design reduces moving mass on X-axis for faster and more precise printing.

Thermal Runaway Protection

Advanced safety feature that monitors temperature and shuts down heating if abnormal readings are detected.

Manual Bed Leveling

Four-point manual leveling system with spring-loaded knobs for precise bed calibration.

Filament Runout Sensor

Optional sensor detects when filament runs out and pauses the print to allow for filament change.

Silent Motherboard

TMC2208 stepper drivers provide near-silent operation with improved motion control.

Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Printer won't start Power issue, faulty power supply Check power cable connection, verify power switch is ON
Poor first layer adhesion Unlevel bed, incorrect nozzle height Re-level print bed, adjust Z-offset, clean build surface
Filament not extruding Clogged nozzle, extruder gear slipping Clean nozzle, check extruder tension, increase temperature
Layer shifting Loose belts, stepper motor issues Tighten belts, check stepper connections, reduce speed
Stringing/oozing Temperature too high, retraction settings Lower temperature, increase retraction distance/speed
Warped prints Poor bed adhesion, cooling too fast Use adhesion aids, increase bed temperature, use enclosure

Common Issues & Solutions

  • Under-extrusion: Check filament diameter settings, clean nozzle, calibrate E-steps
  • Over-extrusion: Reduce flow rate, calibrate E-steps, check filament diameter
  • Bed leveling issues: Use paper method, adjust all four corners evenly
  • Thermal runaway error: Check thermistor connections, replace if damaged
  • SD card not reading: Format card to FAT32, ensure proper insertion
  • Motor skipping steps: Reduce print speed, check current settings, lubricate rods
