Installation Guide
Tools Needed:
- Hex wrenches (included)
- Spanner (included)
- Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
- Pliers
- Leveling card or paper
Step-by-Step Installation
- Unbox and Check Components: Carefully unpack all parts and verify all components are present using the parts list.
- Assemble Frame: Connect the vertical aluminum extrusions to the base frame using provided screws and brackets.
- Install Z-axis: Mount the Z-axis lead screw and motor to the vertical frame, ensuring smooth movement.
- Mount X-axis: Install the X-axis gantry with the extruder assembly, ensuring it moves freely along the Z-axis.
- Install Print Bed: Mount the heated bed onto the Y-axis carriage, ensuring it's secure and level.
- Connect Electronics: Route and connect all cables to the mainboard following the wiring diagram.
- Initial Calibration: Level the print bed and calibrate the Z-axis offset for proper first layer adhesion.
- Test Print: Run the included test file to verify proper operation and calibration.

Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Printer won't start | Power issue, loose connections | Check power supply, ensure all cables are securely connected |
| Poor first layer adhesion | Bed not level, incorrect nozzle height | Re-level bed, adjust Z-offset, clean build surface |
| Filament not extruding | Nozzle clogged, extruder gear slipping | Clean nozzle, check extruder tension, ensure proper temperature |
| Layer shifting | Belt tension, mechanical obstruction | Check and adjust belt tension, ensure smooth movement on all axes |
| Stringing/oozing | Temperature too high, retraction settings | Lower temperature, increase retraction distance and speed |
| Warped prints | Bed temperature, cooling, adhesion | Increase bed temperature, use enclosure, apply adhesive |
Common Issues and Solutions
- Under-extrusion: Check filament diameter settings, extruder calibration, and nozzle for clogs
- Overheating: Ensure proper cooling fan operation and check for dust accumulation in electronics
- Z-axis binding: Check lead screw alignment and lubrication
- LCD not responding: Check cable connections to mainboard
- Thermal runaway error: Check thermistor connections and replace if damaged
- Inconsistent extrusion: Check for filament tangles and extruder gear wear
