Installation Guide
Tools Needed:
- Hex keys (included)
- Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
- Pliers
- Leveling card or feeler gauge
- Allen wrenches
Step-by-Step Installation
- Unbox and Inspect: Carefully unbox all components and verify all parts are present using the packing list.
- Frame Assembly: Assemble the aluminum frame according to the instructions, ensuring all bolts are tightened securely.
- Install Gantry: Mount the X-axis gantry onto the vertical frames, ensuring it moves smoothly without binding.
- Install Print Head: Attach the Sprite Direct Drive extruder assembly to the X-axis carriage.
- Connect Electronics: Connect all motors, endstops, and heating elements to the main control board.
- Level the Bed: Use the CR-Touch auto-leveling system to calibrate the print bed, then perform manual fine-tuning.
- Test Run: Perform a test print to verify proper operation and calibration.

Key Features
Sprite Direct Drive Extruder
All-metal direct drive extruder with dual-gear feeding system provides precise filament control, reduced retraction distance, and excellent performance with flexible filaments.
CR-Touch Auto Leveling
Automatic bed leveling sensor ensures perfect first layer adhesion by creating a detailed mesh of the print surface and compensating for any unevenness.
Spring Steel PEI Build Plate
Magnetic spring steel PEI-coated build plate provides excellent adhesion when hot and easy print removal when cool, with flexible surface for effortless part removal.
Dual Z-Axis Lead Screws
Dual Z-axis motors with lead screws ensure stable and synchronized movement, preventing gantry sag and improving print quality consistency across the entire build volume.
Silent Mainboard
TMC2225 stepper drivers provide ultra-quiet operation with excellent motion control, reducing noise levels to below 50 dB during normal operation.
Full Metal Hotend
All-metal hotend allows printing with high-temperature materials up to 260°C, including ABS, PETG, and specialty filaments.
Printing Capabilities
PLA Printing
Optimal for beginners with easy printing at 200-220°C and excellent dimensional accuracy
ABS Printing
High-temperature printing up to 260°C for durable, heat-resistant parts
PETG Printing
Combines ease of PLA with durability of ABS for functional parts
TPU Printing
Flexible filament printing with direct drive extruder for precise control
Wood Filament
Specialty filaments with wood particles for unique finish and sandable surfaces
Carbon Fiber
Reinforced filaments for extra strength and stiffness in printed parts
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Printer won't start | Power issue, loose connections | Check power supply, ensure all cables are securely connected |
| Poor first layer adhesion | Bed not level, incorrect nozzle height | Re-level bed using CR-Touch, adjust Z-offset |
| Filament not extruding | Nozzle clog, extruder gear slipping | Clean nozzle, check extruder tension, increase temperature |
| Layer shifting | Belt tension, mechanical obstruction | Check belt tension, ensure smooth movement on all axes |
| Stringing/oozing | Retraction settings, temperature too high | Adjust retraction distance and speed, lower nozzle temperature |
| Warping | Bed temperature, cooling, adhesion | Increase bed temperature, use enclosure, apply adhesion aids |
Error Codes
- E1: Heating failed - Check thermistor and heating cartridge
- E2: Bed heating failed - Check bed thermistor and heater
- E3: Thermal runaway - Check cooling and temperature sensors
- E4: MAXTEMP error - Temperature exceeded safety limit
- E5: MINTEMP error - Temperature below minimum threshold
- E6: Endstop error - Check limit switches and wiring
