Key Features

Resume Printing Function

Automatically saves print progress during power outages, allowing you to resume printing from the last layer without starting over.

V-Slot Aluminum Profile

High-quality aluminum extrusion frame provides excellent stability and rigidity for precise printing results.

MK8 Extruder

Reliable MK8 extruder design with improved feeding mechanism for consistent filament flow and reduced clogging.

Carborundum Glass Bed

Special textured glass build plate provides excellent adhesion for various filament types and easy print removal when cooled.

MeanWell Power Supply

High-quality UL-certified power supply ensures stable voltage output and safe operation.

Manual Bed Leveling

Four-point manual leveling system with sturdy springs and knobs for precise bed calibration.

Printing Technology Explained

FDM Technology

Fused Deposition Modeling melts thermoplastic filament and deposits it layer by layer to create 3D objects.

Bowden Extruder

Separates the extruder motor from the hotend, reducing moving mass on the X-axis for faster printing speeds.

Heated Build Plate

Prevents warping and improves adhesion for materials like ABS and PETG that require heated beds.

Open Source Firmware

Runs Marlin firmware, allowing for customization and community-developed enhancements.

SD Card Printing

Standalone operation via SD card without requiring constant computer connection.

Upgradable Design

Modular design allows for easy upgrades and modifications with extensive aftermarket support.

Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Printer won't power on Power switch off, loose cable, faulty power supply Check power switch, ensure all cables are connected securely
Filament not extruding Nozzle clogged, extruder gear slipping, wrong temperature Clean nozzle, check extruder tension, verify temperature settings
Poor bed adhesion Bed not level, wrong bed temperature, dirty build surface Re-level bed, adjust temperature, clean with isopropyl alcohol
Layer shifting Belt tension too loose, mechanical obstruction, overheating drivers Tighten belts, check for obstructions, ensure proper cooling
Under-extrusion Partial clog, extruder skipping, low temperature Perform cold pull, calibrate E-steps, increase temperature
Warped prints Bed temperature too low, cooling too fast, draft in room Increase bed temperature, use enclosure, reduce cooling fan speed

Common Issues & Solutions

  • Stringing: Enable retraction in slicer settings, adjust retraction distance and speed
  • Elephant's Foot: Reduce initial layer squish, adjust bed leveling, lower initial layer temperature
  • Z-axis Binding: Check Z-axis alignment, lubricate lead screw, ensure coupler is tight
  • Thermal Runaway: Check thermistor connections, replace faulty thermistor, update firmware
  • SD Card Errors: Format SD card (FAT32), use smaller capacity card, check card reader
  • Overheating Steppers: Improve ventilation, check current settings, install heatsinks
