Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Hex wrenches (included)
  • Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
  • Pliers
  • Leveling card or paper
  • Wire cutters

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Unbox and Inspect: Carefully remove all components from packaging and verify all parts are included and undamaged.
  2. Assemble Frame: Connect the aluminum extrusion frame using the provided screws and brackets according to the assembly diagram.
  3. Install Gantry System: Mount the X-axis gantry onto the vertical supports, ensuring smooth movement and proper alignment.
  4. Install Print Bed: Attach the heated bed to the Y-axis carriage, ensuring it is secure and level.
  5. Install Extruder Assembly: Mount the direct drive extruder and hotend assembly to the X-axis gantry.
  6. Connect Electronics: Route and connect all cables to the main control board, following the color-coded connectors.
  7. Level the Bed: Use the manual leveling knobs and auto-leveling sensor to achieve perfect first layer adhesion.
  8. Test Run: Perform initial calibration, test movements, and run a test print to verify proper operation.
Warning: Ensure proper electrical grounding and keep the printer on a stable, level surface away from flammable materials.

Key Features

Direct Drive Extruder

The integrated direct drive extruder provides precise filament control, enabling better printing of flexible materials and reducing stringing.

Auto Leveling

CR-Touch auto leveling sensor automatically measures bed flatness and compensates for any unevenness, ensuring perfect first layers every time.

Sprite Extruder Pro

All-metal hotend with dual-gear extrusion system provides consistent flow and enables printing with various filament types including PLA, PETG, and TPU.

Silent Mainboard

TMC2209 stepper drivers provide ultra-quiet operation while maintaining precise motor control and smooth movement.

Rapid Heating

High-power heated bed reaches printing temperature in just 2-3 minutes, significantly reducing wait times before printing.

Filament Runout Sensor

Detects when filament runs out and pauses the print, allowing you to reload and resume printing without losing progress.

Printing Technology Explained

FDM Technology

Fused Deposition Modeling melts and extrudes thermoplastic filament layer by layer to create 3D objects

Precision Motion

Dual Z-axis lead screws and linear rails ensure stable and accurate movement throughout the print volume

Thermal Management

Optimized cooling system with dual 4010 fans provides proper cooling for overhangs and bridges

Bed Adhesion

PEI magnetic spring steel build plate offers excellent adhesion when hot and easy removal when cool

Connectivity

Supports USB, TF card, and optional Wi-Fi connectivity for flexible file transfer options

Software Compatibility

Works with popular slicers including Creality Slicer, Cura, and PrusaSlicer for optimal results

Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Printer won't start Power issue, loose connections Check power supply, ensure all cables are securely connected
Poor first layer adhesion Bed not level, incorrect nozzle height Re-level bed, adjust Z-offset, clean build plate
Extrusion issues Clogged nozzle, incorrect temperature Clean nozzle, check temperature settings, ensure filament loading
Layer shifting Loose belts, mechanical obstruction Tighten belts, check for obstructions, reduce print speed
Stringing/oozing Retraction settings, temperature too high Adjust retraction settings, lower printing temperature
Warping Bed temperature, cooling, adhesion Increase bed temperature, use enclosure, apply adhesive

Error Codes

  • E1: Hotend temperature error - Check thermistor and heating cartridge
  • E2: Bed temperature error - Check bed thermistor and heater
  • E3: Thermal runaway - Check cooling and temperature sensors
  • E4: Filament runout - Reload filament or disable sensor
  • E5: Auto leveling error - Check CR-Touch sensor and wiring
  • E6: Motor stall - Check for obstructions and motor connections
