Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Hex wrenches (included)
  • Spanner wrench
  • Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
  • Pliers
  • Leveling card or paper

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Unbox and Inspect: Carefully unbox all components and verify all parts are present using the packing list.
  2. Frame Assembly: Assemble the aluminum extrusion frame according to the diagram, ensuring all connections are tight.
  3. Install Gantry: Mount the X-axis gantry to the vertical frames, ensuring it moves smoothly without binding.
  4. Install Print Bed: Mount the heated bed to the Y-axis carriage, ensuring it's secure and level.
  5. Extruder Installation:
  6. Electrical Connections: Connect all motors, endstops, and heated bed to the mainboard following the wiring diagram.
  7. Initial Calibration: Level the bed, calibrate Z-offset, and perform initial test movements.
  8. Test Print: Run the included test print to verify proper installation and calibration.
Warning: Ensure proper electrical grounding and keep the printer on a stable, level surface away from flammable materials.

Key Features

Sprite Direct Extruder

High-flow direct drive extruder with dual-gear feeding system provides precise filament control and supports flexible materials with minimal retraction.

CR Touch Auto Leveling

Automatic bed leveling with 25-point mesh compensation ensures perfect first layers across the entire print surface without manual adjustment.

Dual Z-axis Lead Screws

Synchronized dual Z-axis motors with trapezoidal lead screws provide exceptional stability and precision for tall prints.

PEI Magnetic Build Plate

Spring steel PEI-coated magnetic build surface provides excellent adhesion when hot and easy print removal when cool.

Silent Motherboard

32-bit silent mainboard with TMC2209 stepper drivers reduces operational noise to below 50dB while maintaining precise motion control.

High-Speed Printing

Optimized kinematics and powerful extruder enable printing speeds up to 600mm/s with excellent quality and minimal ringing.

Printing Technologies Explained

Linear Advance

Advanced pressure control for sharp corners and consistent extrusion at varying speeds

Input Shaping

Vibration compensation for higher speeds without quality loss

Power Loss Recovery

Automatically resumes printing after power interruption

Filament Runout Sensor

Pauses printing when filament runs out and resumes after reloading

Thermal Runaway Protection

Multiple safety features to prevent overheating and fire hazards

Resume Printing

Allows pausing and resuming prints at any point in the process

Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Printer won't start Power issue, mainboard fault, wiring problem Check power supply, verify all connections, inspect mainboard
Poor first layer adhesion Bed not level, incorrect Z-offset, dirty build plate Re-level bed, adjust Z-offset, clean build surface with IPA
Extrusion issues Clogged nozzle, extruder tension, filament diameter Clean nozzle, adjust extruder tension, check filament specs
Layer shifting Belt tension, mechanical binding, overheating drivers Adjust belt tension, lubricate rails, check cooling
Stringing/oozing Retraction settings, temperature too high Optimize retraction, lower printing temperature
Warping Bed temperature, cooling, adhesion Increase bed temp, use enclosure, apply adhesion aids

Error Codes

  • E1: Heating failed - Check thermistor and heater cartridge
  • E2: Bed heating failed - Check bed thermistor and heater
  • E3: Thermal runaway - Check cooling and thermal protection
  • E4: MAXTEMP error - Temperature exceeded safety limits
  • E5: MINTEMP error - Temperature below minimum threshold
  • E6: Endstop error - Check endstop switches and wiring
