Key Features

Large Build Volume

350x350x400mm build volume allows printing of large prototypes, cosplay parts, and functional components in a single print.

Dual Z-Axis Screws

Dual Z-axis lead screws with independent motors ensure exceptional stability and precision for tall prints.

Touch Screen Interface

4.3-inch color touch screen provides intuitive control, file management, and real-time monitoring of print progress.

Resume Print Function

Automatically saves print progress and can resume printing after power failure, preventing wasted time and materials.

Carborundum Glass Bed

Special textured glass build surface provides excellent adhesion while printing and easy removal once cooled.

Upgradable Design

Open-source design allows for extensive modifications and upgrades including direct drive, auto-leveling, and silent boards.

Printing Technology Explained

FDM Technology

Fused Deposition Modeling melts and extrudes thermoplastic filament layer by layer to create 3D objects.

Precision Motion

V-slot aluminum extrusion and precision linear rails ensure smooth, accurate movement in all axes.

Thermal Management

PID-controlled heating system maintains stable temperatures for consistent print quality.

Filament Detection

Optional filament runout sensor pauses printing when filament is exhausted, allowing for spool changes.

Silent Operation

TMC2208 stepper drivers (upgraded models) provide near-silent operation during printing.

Network Connectivity

Compatible with Raspberry Pi and OctoPrint for remote monitoring and control via network.

Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Printer won't start Power issue, faulty power supply Check power cable, verify power switch is on, check fuse
Poor bed adhesion Unlevel bed, incorrect nozzle height, dirty bed Re-level bed, adjust Z-offset, clean bed with isopropyl alcohol
Extruder clicking Nozzle clog, extruder tension too tight Clean nozzle, adjust extruder spring tension, increase temperature
Layer shifting Loose belts, mechanical obstruction Tighten belts, check for obstructions, reduce print speed
Stringing/oozing Temperature too high, retraction settings Lower temperature, increase retraction distance/speed
Warped prints Bed temperature too low, cooling too fast Increase bed temperature, use enclosure, add brim/raft

Common Error Messages

  • THERMAL RUNAWAY: Heating failure - Check thermistor and heater connections
  • HOMING FAILED: Endstop issue - Check endstop switches and wiring
  • NOZZLE TOO COLD: Temperature error - Check heater cartridge and thermistor
  • FILE READ ERROR: SD card issue - Format SD card or use different card
  • MOVEMENT ERROR: Mechanical obstruction - Check for binding or obstructions
  • OVERHEAT ERROR: Cooling failure - Check fans and ventilation
