Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Printer won't power on Power switch off, loose cable, faulty power supply Check power switch, ensure all cables are secure, test outlet
Poor first layer adhesion Bed not level, incorrect Z-offset, dirty build plate Re-level bed, adjust Z-offset, clean build surface with alcohol
Filament not extruding Clogged nozzle, extruder gear slipping, incorrect temperature Clean nozzle, check extruder tension, verify temperature settings
Layer shifting Loose belts, mechanical obstruction, overheating drivers Tighten belts, check for obstructions, ensure proper cooling
Stringing/oozing Temperature too high, retraction settings incorrect Lower temperature, increase retraction distance/speed
Warping Bed temperature too low, draft, insufficient adhesion Increase bed temperature, use enclosure, apply adhesive

Error Codes

  • E1: Hotend temperature error - Check thermistor connection
  • E2: Bed temperature error - Check bed thermistor
  • E3: Thermal runaway - Check heating elements and cooling
  • E4: Power supply error - Check input voltage and connections
  • E5: Motor stall - Check for mechanical obstructions
  • E6: Communication error - Check cable connections to display
