Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Printer won't power on | Power switch off, loose cable, faulty power supply | Check power switch, ensure all cables are secure, test outlet |
| Poor first layer adhesion | Bed not level, incorrect Z-offset, dirty build plate | Re-level bed, adjust Z-offset, clean build surface with alcohol |
| Filament not extruding | Clogged nozzle, extruder gear slipping, incorrect temperature | Clean nozzle, check extruder tension, verify temperature settings |
| Layer shifting | Loose belts, mechanical obstruction, overheating drivers | Tighten belts, check for obstructions, ensure proper cooling |
| Stringing/oozing | Temperature too high, retraction settings incorrect | Lower temperature, increase retraction distance/speed |
| Warping | Bed temperature too low, draft, insufficient adhesion | Increase bed temperature, use enclosure, apply adhesive |
Error Codes
- E1: Hotend temperature error - Check thermistor connection
- E2: Bed temperature error - Check bed thermistor
- E3: Thermal runaway - Check heating elements and cooling
- E4: Power supply error - Check input voltage and connections
- E5: Motor stall - Check for mechanical obstructions
