Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Printer won't start Power issue, emergency stop engaged Check power supply, ensure emergency stop is released
Poor first layer adhesion Bed not level, incorrect nozzle height, dirty bed Re-level bed, adjust Z-offset, clean print surface
Filament not extruding Nozzle clogged, extruder gear slipping Perform cold pull, check extruder tension, clean nozzle
Layer shifting Belt tension, mechanical obstruction, overheating drivers Check belt tension, ensure smooth movement, improve cooling
Stringing/oozing Temperature too high, retraction settings incorrect Lower temperature, adjust retraction distance and speed
Warping Bed temperature too low, cooling too fast, draft Increase bed temp, use enclosure, reduce cooling fan speed

Error Codes

  • E01: Heating failed - Check thermistor and heater cartridge
  • E02: Thermal runaway - Check cooling and temperature sensors
  • E03: Bed leveling failed - Check strain gauge and leveling sensor
  • E04: Extruder error - Check extruder motor and drive gear
  • E05: Axis movement error - Check stepper motors and endstops
  • E06: Communication error - Check cables and mainboard connections
