Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Printer won't power on | Power cable not connected, faulty outlet | Check power connections, try different outlet, verify power switch |
| Poor first layer adhesion | Bed not level, incorrect nozzle height, dirty bed | Run auto-leveling, adjust Z-offset, clean bed with isopropyl alcohol |
| Filament not extruding | Nozzle clogged, extruder gear slipping, filament tangled | Perform cold pull, check extruder tension, ensure filament spool rotates freely |
| Layer shifting | Belt tension, mechanical obstruction, overheating drivers | Check belt tension, ensure smooth movement, verify cooling fans |
| Stringing/oozing | Temperature too high, retraction settings incorrect | Lower nozzle temperature, increase retraction distance/speed |
| Warped prints | Bed temperature too low, insufficient enclosure heat | Increase bed temperature, close chamber doors, use adhesive |
Error Codes
- E01: Heating failed - Check thermistor and heater cartridge
- E02: Thermal runaway - Verify temperature sensors and cooling
- E03: Homing failed - Check endstops and mechanical movement
- E04: Communication error - Restart printer, check cable connections
- E05: Filament runout - Load new filament or disable sensor
- E06: Over-temperature - Allow printer to cool, check cooling system
