Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Printer won't power on Power cable not connected, faulty outlet Check power connections, try different outlet, verify power switch
Poor first layer adhesion Bed not level, incorrect nozzle height, dirty bed Run auto-leveling, adjust Z-offset, clean bed with isopropyl alcohol
Filament not extruding Nozzle clogged, extruder gear slipping, filament tangled Perform cold pull, check extruder tension, ensure filament spool rotates freely
Layer shifting Belt tension, mechanical obstruction, overheating drivers Check belt tension, ensure smooth movement, verify cooling fans
Stringing/oozing Temperature too high, retraction settings incorrect Lower nozzle temperature, increase retraction distance/speed
Warped prints Bed temperature too low, insufficient enclosure heat Increase bed temperature, close chamber doors, use adhesive

Error Codes

  • E01: Heating failed - Check thermistor and heater cartridge
  • E02: Thermal runaway - Verify temperature sensors and cooling
  • E03: Homing failed - Check endstops and mechanical movement
  • E04: Communication error - Restart printer, check cable connections
  • E05: Filament runout - Load new filament or disable sensor
  • E06: Over-temperature - Allow printer to cool, check cooling system
