Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Printer won't start Power issue, mainboard fault Check power supply, ensure proper voltage setting, inspect mainboard connections
Poor print quality Uncalibrated, wrong temperature, worn nozzle Re-run calibration, adjust temperature settings, replace nozzle
Filament not feeding Clogged nozzle, extruder gear issues Perform cold pull, clean extruder gears, check tension
Layer shifting Belt tension, loose pulleys, overheating drivers Adjust belt tension, tighten pulleys, check cooling
Unusual noises Dry bearings, loose components, belt rubbing Lubricate linear rails, tighten all screws, adjust belt alignment
Bed adhesion issues Unlevel bed, wrong temperature, dirty surface Re-level bed, adjust temperature, clean with isopropyl alcohol

Error Codes

  • E01: Heating failed - Check thermistor and heater cartridge
  • E02: Thermal runaway - Verify cooling and temperature sensors
  • E03: Motor fault - Check stepper motor connections
  • E04: Endstop error - Verify limit switch functionality
  • E05: SD card error - Format SD card or replace
  • E06: Communication error - Check all cable connections
