Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Printer won't start Power issue, emergency stop engaged Check power supply, ensure emergency stop is released
Poor first layer adhesion Bed not level, incorrect nozzle height, dirty bed Re-level bed, adjust Z-offset, clean with isopropyl alcohol
Filament not extruding Nozzle clog, extruder gear slipping, filament tangled Clean nozzle, check extruder tension, ensure free filament path
Layer shifting Belt tension, mechanical obstruction, overheating drivers Check belt tension, clear obstructions, ensure proper cooling
Stringing/oozing Temperature too high, retraction settings incorrect Lower temperature, increase retraction distance/speed
Warping Bed temperature too low, cooling too fast, draft Increase bed temp, reduce cooling, use enclosure

Error Codes

  • E01: Thermal runaway - Check thermistor connections
  • E02: Heating failed - Verify heater cartridge function
  • E03: Bed heating error - Check bed thermistor
  • E04: Motor stall - Clear obstruction, check current
  • E05: Filament runout - Load new filament
  • E06: Probe error - Clean auto-leveling sensor
