Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Printer won't start | Power issue, faulty power supply | Check power connection, verify power switch is on, test outlet |
| Poor first layer adhesion | Bed not level, incorrect Z-offset, dirty bed | Re-level bed, adjust Z-offset, clean bed with isopropyl alcohol |
| Extruder clicking | Nozzle clog, extruder tension too high, filament jam | Clean nozzle, adjust extruder tension, check for filament obstruction |
| Layer shifting | Loose belts, mechanical obstruction, overheating drivers | Tighten belts, check for obstructions, ensure proper cooling |
| Stringing/oozing | Temperature too high, retraction settings incorrect | Lower temperature, increase retraction distance and speed |
| Warping | Bed temperature too low, cooling too fast, draft | Increase bed temperature, reduce part cooling, eliminate drafts |
Error Codes
- E1: Heating failed - Check thermistor and heater cartridge
- E2: Bed heating failed - Check bed thermistor and heater
- E3: Thermal runaway - Check cooling and temperature sensors
- E4: Filament runout - Load new filament and resume
- E5: Over-temperature - Allow printer to cool and restart
- E6: Under-temperature - Check heating elements and power
