Key Features

Resume Print Function

Automatically saves print progress and can resume printing after power failure, preventing wasted time and materials.

Precision V-Slot Wheels

High-precision V-slot aluminum extrusion and POM wheels ensure smooth and accurate movement on all axes.

MK10 Extruder

All-metal MK10 extruder provides reliable filament feeding with minimal clogging and consistent extrusion.

Carborundum Glass Platform

Ultra-flat carborundum glass build plate provides excellent adhesion and easy print removal when cooled.

MeanWell Power Supply

High-quality MeanWell power supply ensures stable voltage output and safe operation.

Open Source Firmware

Runs Marlin open-source firmware, allowing for customization and community support.

Printing Technology Explained

FDM/FFF

Fused Deposition Modeling/Fused Filament Fabrication technology for layer-by-layer printing

Heated Bed

Prevents warping and improves adhesion for materials like ABS and PETG

Bowden Extruder

Reduces moving mass on X-axis for faster printing and reduced vibration

Manual Leveling

Four-point manual bed leveling system for precise first layer calibration

Filament Runout Sensor

Optional sensor detects when filament runs out and pauses printing

SD Card Printing

Standalone operation via SD card without computer connection

Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Printer won't start Power issue, faulty power supply Check power cable connection, verify power switch position
Poor first layer adhesion Bed not leveled, incorrect nozzle height Re-level bed, adjust Z-offset, clean build surface
Filament not extruding Nozzle clogged, extruder gear slipping Clean nozzle, check extruder tension, increase temperature
Layer shifting Belt tension, mechanical obstruction Tighten belts, check for binding, reduce print speed
Stringing/oozing Retraction settings, temperature too high Adjust retraction settings, lower printing temperature
Warping Bed temperature, cooling, adhesion Increase bed temperature, use enclosure, apply adhesive

Common Issues & Solutions

  • Under-extrusion: Check filament diameter settings, extruder calibration, nozzle for clogs
  • Over-extrusion: Calibrate E-steps, reduce flow rate, check filament diameter
  • Bed leveling issues: Use paper method for proper nozzle gap, check all four corners
  • Thermal runaway: Check thermistor connections, replace if damaged
  • Z-axis binding: Lubricate lead screw, check alignment, adjust coupling
  • SD card errors: Format SD card, use smaller capacity card, check file names
