MK8 Extruder

The MK8 extruder provides consistent filament feeding with minimal clogging, supporting a wide range of filament materials.

Carborundum Glass Bed

Ultra-flat carborundum glass bed provides excellent adhesion while printing and easy removal when cooled, eliminating the need for additional adhesives.

Meanwell Power Supply

High-quality Meanwell power supply ensures stable voltage output and reliable performance, meeting international safety standards.

Upgradable Design

Modular design allows for easy upgrades and modifications, including BLTouch auto-leveling, silent mainboard, and direct drive extruder conversions.

Printing Materials Supported

PLA

Easy to print, low warping, ideal for beginners and general purpose printing

ABS

Durable and heat resistant, requires heated bed and enclosure for best results

PETG

Strong and flexible, combines ease of printing with durability and chemical resistance

TPU

Flexible filament for rubber-like parts, requires slow print speeds and direct drive extruder

Wood Fill

Composite filament with wood particles, produces wood-like appearance and can be sanded and stained

Carbon Fiber

Reinforced filament for strong, lightweight parts, requires hardened steel nozzle

Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Printer won't power on Power switch off, loose cable, faulty power supply Check power switch, ensure all cables are secure, test power supply
Filament not extruding Clogged nozzle, extruder gear slipping, wrong temperature Clean nozzle, tighten extruder gear, check temperature settings
Poor bed adhesion Unlevel bed, dirty surface, wrong bed temperature Re-level bed, clean with isopropyl alcohol, adjust bed temperature
Layer shifting Loose belts, mechanical binding, overheating drivers Tighten belts, check for obstructions, improve cooling
Stringing/oozing Retraction settings wrong, temperature too high Adjust retraction distance and speed, lower printing temperature
Warped prints Uneven cooling, bed temperature too low, draft Use enclosure, increase bed temperature, eliminate drafts

Common Error Messages

  • THERMAL RUNAWAY: Temperature control issue - Check thermistor and heater cartridge connections
  • HOMING FAILED: Endstop not triggered - Check endstop switches and wiring
  • HEATING FAILED: Heater not reaching temperature - Check heater cartridge and power connections
  • MAXTEMP ERROR: Temperature reading too high - Check thermistor for short circuit
  • MINTEMP ERROR: Temperature reading too low - Check thermistor for open circuit
  • MOVEMENT ERROR: Motor movement issue - Check stepper drivers and connections
