Key Features

Resume Printing Function

Automatically saves printing progress. If power fails during printing, the printer can resume from the last layer once power is restored.

Precision V-Slot Wheels

High-precision V-slot wheels provide smooth and stable movement on all axes, ensuring accurate and consistent prints.

MK8 Extruder

The MK8 extruder provides reliable filament feeding with minimal clogging, compatible with various filament types including PLA, ABS, PETG, and TPU.

Carborundum Glass Bed

Ultra-flat carborundum glass bed provides excellent adhesion while printing and easy removal once cooled, ensuring perfect first layers.

Meanwell Power Supply

High-quality Meanwell power supply provides stable voltage output, ensuring consistent performance and enhanced safety.

Upgradable Design

Open-source design allows for extensive modifications and upgrades including auto bed leveling, direct drive conversion, and silent stepper drivers.

Printing Technology Explained

FDM Technology

Fused Deposition Modeling builds objects layer by layer using melted thermoplastic filament

Bowden Extruder

Lightweight print head reduces inertia for faster printing speeds and better print quality

Heated Build Plate

Prevents warping and improves adhesion for materials like ABS and PETG

Manual Bed Leveling

Four-point manual leveling system with spring-loaded adjustment knobs for precise calibration

Silent Motherboard

32-bit silent motherboard reduces motor noise while improving printing precision

Filament Runout Sensor

Detects when filament runs out and pauses printing to allow for filament change

Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Printer won't power on Power switch off, loose cable, faulty power supply Check power switch, secure all connections, test power supply
Poor first layer adhesion Bed not level, nozzle too high, bed temperature incorrect Re-level bed, adjust Z-offset, increase bed temperature
Extruder clicking Nozzle clogged, extruder tension too tight, filament jam Clean nozzle, adjust extruder tension, check for filament jams
Layer shifting Belt tension loose, stepper current incorrect, mechanical obstruction Tighten belts, adjust stepper current, check for obstructions
Stringing/oozing Retraction settings incorrect, temperature too high Increase retraction distance/speed, lower printing temperature
Under-extrusion Nozzle partially clogged, extruder slipping, filament diameter variance Clean nozzle, check extruder gear, calibrate E-steps

Common Error Messages

  • THERMAL RUNAWAY: Temperature control issue - Check thermistor and heater cartridge
  • HOMING FAILED: Endstop not triggered - Check endstop wiring and positioning
  • HEATING FAILED: Heater not reaching temperature - Check heater wiring and power
  • MAXTEMP ERROR: Temperature exceeded limit - Check thermistor connection
  • MINTEMP ERROR: Temperature below minimum - Check thermistor connection
  • FILAMENT RUNOUT: Filament sensor triggered - Load new filament
