Installation Guide
Tools Needed:
- Hex wrenches (included)
- Spanner wrench
- Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
- Pliers
- Leveling card (included)
Step-by-Step Installation
- Unbox and Check Components: Carefully unpack all components and verify all parts are present using the parts checklist.
- Assemble Frame: Connect the vertical aluminum extrusions to the base frame using the provided screws and hex wrenches.
- Install X-Axis Gantry: Mount the X-axis gantry onto the vertical extrusions, ensuring smooth movement.
- Install Print Bed: Attach the heated bed to the Y-axis carriage, ensuring it is securely fastened.
- Connect Electronics: Connect all cables to the main control board following the color-coded wiring diagram.
- Install Filament System: Mount the direct drive extruder and connect the Bowden tube to the hotend.
- Initial Calibration: Run the auto-leveling sequence and perform manual bed leveling for optimal first layer adhesion.

Key Features
Direct Drive Extruder
The direct drive system provides precise filament control, enabling better printing of flexible materials and reducing stringing with retraction-sensitive filaments.
CR Touch Auto Leveling
Automatic bed leveling with 16-point mesh compensation ensures perfect first layers every time, eliminating manual bed leveling hassles.
Silent Motherboard
Equipped with silent TMC2208 stepper drivers, reducing operational noise to below 50 dB for quiet printing in any environment.
Carborundum Glass Bed
The textured glass build plate provides excellent adhesion when hot and easy print removal when cool, without requiring additional adhesives.
Filament Runout Sensor
Automatically pauses printing when filament runs out, allowing you to resume printing after reloading without losing progress.
Power Loss Recovery
Automatically saves print progress and can resume printing from the last layer after a power outage, preventing failed prints.
Printing Materials Compatibility
PLA
Easy to print, low warp, ideal for beginners and general purpose printing
ABS
Durable and heat resistant, requires enclosed chamber for best results
PETG
Strong and flexible, combines ease of PLA with durability of ABS
TPU
Flexible filament, perfect for phone cases, seals, and wearable items
Wood PLA
Composite filament with wood fibers, sandable and stainable
Carbon Fiber
Reinforced filament for high-strength, rigid parts with abrasion resistance
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Printer won't start | Power issue, mainboard fault | Check power supply, ensure all connections are secure |
| Poor first layer adhesion | Bed not level, wrong nozzle height, dirty bed | Re-level bed, adjust Z-offset, clean bed with isopropyl alcohol |
| Filament not extruding | Nozzle clog, extruder gear slipping | Perform cold pull, check extruder tension, clean nozzle |
| Layer shifting | Belt tension, mechanical obstruction | Check belt tension, ensure smooth movement on all axes |
| Stringing/oozing | Temperature too high, retraction settings | Lower temperature, increase retraction distance and speed |
| Warping/corner lift | Bed temperature, cooling, adhesion | Increase bed temperature, use brim/raft, ensure clean bed |
Error Codes
- E1: Hotend temperature error - Check thermistor connection
- E2: Bed temperature error - Check bed thermistor
- E3: Thermal runaway - Check heating elements and cooling
- E4: Filament runout - Reload filament and resume
- E5: Homing error - Check endstops and mechanical movement
- E6: Leveling error - Clean CR Touch probe, check wiring
