Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Hex wrenches (included)
  • Spanner wrench
  • Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
  • Leveling card or feeler gauge
  • Pliers

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Unbox and Inspect: Carefully remove all components from packaging and verify all parts are included and undamaged.
  2. Assemble Frame: Connect the vertical aluminum extrusions to the base frame using provided screws and brackets.
  3. Install Gantry: Mount the X-axis gantry to the vertical extrusions, ensuring it moves smoothly without binding.
  4. Mount Print Head: Install the Sprite Direct Drive Extruder to the X-axis carriage and connect all cables.
  5. Install Build Plate: Place the magnetic PEI spring steel build plate onto the heated bed.
  6. Connect Electronics: Route all cables to the control box and connect power supply, stepper motors, and endstops.
  7. Level and Calibrate: Perform manual bed leveling followed by CR-Touch auto bed leveling procedure.
  8. Test Print: Load filament and run the included test print to verify proper operation.
Warning: Ensure proper electrical grounding and keep printer on a stable, level surface away from flammable materials.

Key Features

Sprite Direct Drive Extruder

All-metal direct drive extruder with dual-gear feeding system provides precise filament control, enabling printing with flexible materials and reducing stringing.

CR-Touch Auto Leveling

Automatic bed leveling sensor ensures perfect first layer adhesion across the entire 300x300mm build surface, eliminating manual leveling hassles.

Dual Z-Axis Lead Screws

Dual motor Z-axis system with trapezoidal lead screws provides exceptional stability and prevents gantry sag, ensuring consistent layer quality.

Carborundum Glass Bed

High-temperature resistant glass build plate with carborundum coating provides excellent adhesion when hot and easy release when cool.

Silent Motherboard

TMC2225 stepper drivers provide near-silent operation while maintaining precise motor control and smooth movement.

Resume Print Function

Power failure recovery feature allows prints to resume from the last layer after unexpected power interruptions.

Print Capabilities

PLA Printing

Optimal for detailed models with excellent dimensional accuracy

ABS/ASA

High-temperature materials for functional parts and outdoor use

TPU/Flexible

Flexible materials for gaskets, seals, and wearable items

PETG

Durable, chemical-resistant prints with good layer adhesion

Carbon Fiber

Reinforced filaments for high-strength, lightweight parts

Wood/PVA

Specialty filaments for support material and decorative prints

Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Printer won't start Power issue, mainboard fault Check power supply, ensure proper voltage setting, check mainboard connections
Poor first layer adhesion Bed not level, incorrect nozzle height, dirty build surface Re-level bed, adjust Z-offset, clean build surface with isopropyl alcohol
Filament not extruding Nozzle clog, extruder gear slipping, filament jam Clean nozzle, check extruder tension, clear filament path
Layer shifting Belt tension, loose pulleys, overheating drivers Adjust belt tension, tighten pulley set screws, ensure proper cooling
Stringing/oozing Temperature too high, retraction settings incorrect Lower nozzle temperature, increase retraction distance/speed
Warping/corner lift Bed temperature too low, draft, poor adhesion Increase bed temperature, use enclosure, apply adhesive

Error Codes

  • E1: Heating failed - Check thermistor and heater cartridge
  • E2: Bed heating failed - Check bed thermistor and heater
  • E3: Thermal runaway - Check cooling and temperature sensors
  • E4: ADC error - Check wiring and mainboard
  • E5: Power loss - Check power supply and connections
  • E6: Motor fault - Check stepper motor wiring and drivers
