Key Features
Sprite Direct Drive Extruder
All-metal direct drive extruder with dual-gear feeding system provides precise filament control, reduced stringing, and excellent performance with flexible filaments.
CR Touch Auto Bed Leveling
Automatic bed leveling sensor with 16-point mesh calibration ensures perfect first layer adhesion across the entire build surface.
All-Metal Hotend
High-temperature all-metal hotend capable of reaching 300°C, enabling printing with engineering materials like ABS, PETG, and nylon.
Dual Z-axis Screws
Dual Z-axis lead screws with independent stepper motors ensure stable and precise Z-axis movement, preventing layer shifting and improving print quality.
Carborundum Glass Bed
High-temperature resistant glass bed with carborundum coating provides excellent adhesion while hot and easy release when cooled.
Silent Mainboard
TMC2208 stepper drivers provide near-silent operation while maintaining precise motor control and smooth movement.
Printing Technology Explained
FDM Technology
Fused Deposition Modeling melts thermoplastic filament and deposits it layer by layer to create 3D objects
Direct Drive
Extruder mounted directly on the print head reduces retraction distance and improves flexible filament handling
Heated Bed
Temperature-controlled build surface prevents warping and improves adhesion for various materials
Auto Leveling
Automatic bed calibration compensates for minor surface imperfections ensuring consistent first layers
Filament Runout Sensor
Detects when filament runs out and pauses printing, allowing for filament change without print failure
Resume Print Function
Power failure recovery feature saves print progress and allows resumption after power is restored
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Printer won't power on | Power switch off, loose cable, faulty power supply | Check power switch, ensure all cables are secure, test outlet |
| Poor first layer adhesion | Bed not level, incorrect Z-offset, dirty bed surface | Re-level bed, adjust Z-offset, clean bed with isopropyl alcohol |
| Extruder clicking/skipping | Nozzle clog, extruder tension too tight/loose, printing too fast | Clean nozzle, adjust extruder tension, reduce print speed |
| Layer shifting | Belt tension too loose, mechanical obstruction, overheating drivers | Tighten belts, check for obstructions, ensure proper cooling |
| Stringing/oozing | Retraction settings incorrect, temperature too high | Adjust retraction distance and speed, lower printing temperature |
| Under-extrusion | Partial nozzle clog, extruder gear worn, filament diameter variance | Clean nozzle, check extruder gear, verify filament diameter |
Common Error Messages
- E1: Hotend temperature error - Check thermistor connection
- E2: Bed temperature error - Check bed thermistor
- E3: Thermal runaway - Check heating elements and cooling
- E4: Filament runout - Load new filament and resume
- E5: XYZ axis error - Check endstops and mechanical movement
- E6: Power loss - Check power supply and connections
