Installation Guide
Tools Needed:
- Hex wrenches (included)
- Spanner wrench
- Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
- Pliers
- Leveling card
Step-by-Step Installation
- Unbox and Inspect: Carefully remove all components from packaging and verify all parts are included and undamaged.
- Assemble Frame: Connect the vertical aluminum extrusions to the base frame using provided screws and brackets.
- Install X-Axis: Mount the X-axis gantry onto the vertical extrusions, ensuring smooth movement.
- Install Print Head: Attach the Sprite Direct Drive extruder assembly to the X-axis carriage.
- Connect Electronics: Route and connect all cables to the main control board following the wiring diagram.
- Install Build Plate: Place the magnetic PEI spring steel build plate onto the heated bed.
- Level the Bed: Use the CR-Touch auto-leveling system and manual adjustments to ensure proper bed leveling.
- Test Run: Perform a test print to verify proper assembly and calibration.

Key Features
Sprite Direct Drive Extruder
All-metal direct drive extruder with dual-gear feeding system provides precise filament control, enabling printing with flexible materials and reducing stringing.
CR-Touch Auto Leveling
Automatic bed leveling sensor ensures perfect first layer adhesion by creating a detailed mesh of the print surface and compensating for any irregularities.
Dual Z-Axis Lead Screws
Dual independent Z-axis motors with lead screws provide exceptional stability and prevent gantry sag, ensuring consistent layer height throughout prints.
Spring Steel PEI Build Plate
Magnetic removable build surface with PEI coating offers excellent adhesion when hot and easy print removal when cool, minimizing print failures.
Silent Motherboard
32-bit silent mainboard with TMC2209 stepper drivers reduces operational noise to below 50dB while providing smoother motor movements.
All-Metal Hotend
Capable of reaching 300°C, allowing printing with engineering materials like PETG, ABS, and TPU in addition to standard PLA.
Printing Capabilities
PLA Printing
Ideal for beginners with excellent detail and minimal warping at 200-220°C
PETG Printing
Durable and flexible material requiring 230-250°C with moderate cooling
ABS Printing
High-temperature material (240-260°C) requiring enclosed environment for best results
TPU Printing
Flexible filament perfect for gaskets and phone cases, printed at 220-240°C
Wood Filament
Composite material producing wood-like finishes at 190-220°C
Carbon Fiber
Reinforced filament for strong, lightweight parts requiring hardened nozzle
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Printer won't start | Power issue, faulty connection | Check power supply, ensure all cables are securely connected |
| Poor first layer adhesion | Bed not level, incorrect nozzle height | Re-level bed, adjust Z-offset, clean build surface |
| Filament not extruding | Clogged nozzle, extruder gear issue | Clean or replace nozzle, check extruder tension |
| Layer shifting | Belt tension, mechanical obstruction | Adjust belt tension, check for obstructions on rails |
| Stringing/oozing | Temperature too high, retraction settings | Lower temperature, increase retraction distance/speed |
| Warped prints | Bed temperature, cooling, ambient drafts | Increase bed temp, reduce cooling, use enclosure |
Error Codes
- E1: Hotend temperature error - Check thermistor connection
- E2: Bed temperature error - Check bed thermistor
- E3: Thermal runaway - Check heating elements and cooling
- E4: Power supply error - Check input voltage and connections
- E5: Motor stall - Check for mechanical obstructions
- E6: Communication error - Restart printer and check cables
