Key Features

V-Slot Aluminum Profile

High-quality aluminum extrusion frame provides excellent stability and rigidity, ensuring precise printing results and minimal vibration during operation.

MK8 Extruder

The reliable MK8 extruder design provides consistent filament feeding with minimal clogging, compatible with a wide range of 1.75mm filaments.

Carborundum Glass Platform

Ultra-flat carborundum glass build plate provides excellent adhesion for various materials and easy print removal when cooled.

Resume Print Function

Automatically saves print progress in case of power failure, allowing prints to resume from the last saved position when power is restored.

Manual Bed Leveling

Four-point manual bed leveling system with sturdy springs allows for precise adjustment to ensure perfect first layer adhesion.

Open Source Design

Fully open source hardware and firmware allows for extensive customization, upgrades, and community support.

Printing Technology Explained

FDM/FFF

Fused Deposition Modeling technology melts and extrudes thermoplastic filament layer by layer

Bowden Setup

Separate extruder motor reduces moving mass on X-axis for faster printing speeds

Heated Bed

Temperature-controlled build surface improves adhesion and prevents warping

Precision Steppers

1.8° stepper motors with 16 microsteps provide precise movement control

TMC2208 Drivers

Silent stepper drivers reduce operational noise significantly

SD Card Printing

Offline printing capability without computer connection

Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Printer won't start Power issue, faulty power supply Check power cable, verify power switch position, test outlet
Poor first layer adhesion Unlevel bed, wrong nozzle height, dirty bed Re-level bed, adjust Z-offset, clean bed with isopropyl alcohol
Filament not extruding Clogged nozzle, extruder gear slipping Perform cold pull, clean nozzle, check extruder tension
Layer shifting Loose belts, mechanical obstruction Tighten X and Y belts, check for binding in motion system
Stringing/oozing High temperature, insufficient retraction Lower printing temperature, increase retraction distance/speed
Warped prints Uneven cooling, bed temperature too low Increase bed temperature, use enclosure, add brim/raft

Common Issues

  • Under-extrusion: Check filament diameter settings, extruder calibration, nozzle for clogs
  • Over-extrusion: Calibrate E-steps, reduce flow rate, check filament diameter setting
  • Z-axis binding: Ensure lead screws are straight and properly aligned, lubricate if needed
  • Thermal runaway: Check thermistor connections, replace if damaged
  • SD card errors: Format SD card, use different card, check card reader connection
  • Bed leveling issues: Replace worn springs, check for warped bed, upgrade to stiffer springs
