Printing Technology Explained

FDM Technology

Fused Deposition Modeling builds objects layer by layer using heated thermoplastic filament

Bowden Extruder

Lightweight print head design reduces moving mass for faster and more precise printing

V-Slot Wheels

Precision V-slot aluminum extrusion with POM wheels ensures smooth and accurate movement

Dual Z-axis

Dual Z-axis lead screws provide better stability and prevent gantry sagging

Thermal Runaway

Built-in protection automatically shuts down heating if temperature exceeds safe limits

Filament Detection

Optional filament runout sensor pauses printing when filament runs out

Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Printer won't start Power issue, loose connections Check power supply, ensure all cables are properly connected
Poor layer adhesion Bed not leveled, wrong temperature Re-level bed, adjust bed and nozzle temperature
Filament not extruding Nozzle clogged, extruder gear slipping Clean nozzle, check extruder tension, clear filament path
Warped prints Bed temperature too low, cooling too fast Increase bed temperature, use enclosure, adjust cooling fan
Layer shifting Belt tension, mechanical obstruction Check belt tension, ensure smooth movement on all axes
Stringing/oozing Retraction settings, temperature too high Adjust retraction settings, lower nozzle temperature

Error Codes

  • E1: Hotend temperature error - Check thermistor and heating cartridge
  • E2: Bed temperature error - Check bed thermistor and heating
  • E3: Thermal runaway - Check all heating elements and wiring
  • E4: Power loss - Check power supply and connections
  • E5: Filament runout - Replace or insert filament
  • E6: Over temperature - Allow printer to cool, check cooling system
