Print Technology Explained

FDM Technology

Fused Deposition Modeling builds objects layer by layer using melted thermoplastic filament

Bowden Extruder

Lightweight print head design reduces moving mass for faster and more precise movements

V-Slot Wheels

Precision V-slot aluminum extrusion with POM wheels for smooth and accurate motion

Dual Z-axis

Dual Z-axis lead screws provide enhanced stability and better layer alignment

Capricorn Tubing

High-temperature Capricorn PTFE tubing reduces friction and prevents filament jams

Filament Runout Sensor

Detects when filament runs out and pauses print, allowing for filament change

Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Printer won't power on Power switch, cable connection, fuse Check power switch position, ensure cable is connected, check fuse
Poor bed adhesion Unlevel bed, dirty surface, wrong temperature Re-level bed, clean with isopropyl alcohol, adjust bed temperature
Filament not extruding Clogged nozzle, extruder gear slip, wrong temperature Clean nozzle, check extruder tension, increase hotend temperature
Layer shifting Loose belts, mechanical obstruction, overheating drivers Tighten belts, check for obstructions, improve cooling
Stringing/oozing Retraction settings, temperature too high, travel speed Adjust retraction settings, lower temperature, increase travel speed
Warped prints Bed temperature, cooling, adhesion Increase bed temperature, adjust cooling, use adhesion aids

Error Codes

  • E1: Hotend temperature error - Check thermistor and heating cartridge
  • E2: Bed temperature error - Check bed thermistor and heater
  • E3: Thermal runaway - Check cooling and temperature sensors
  • E4: Power loss - Check power supply and connections
  • E5: Filament runout - Replace or insert filament
  • E6: Over temperature - Allow to cool and check cooling system
