Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Hex keys (included in package)
  • Spanner/wrench
  • Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
  • Leveling card or paper
  • Pliers

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Unbox and Check Components: Carefully unpack all components and verify all parts are present using the packing list.
  2. Assemble Frame: Connect the vertical aluminum extrusions to the base frame using the provided screws and brackets.
  3. Install X-Axis Gantry: Mount the X-axis gantry onto the vertical extrusions, ensuring smooth movement.
  4. Install Print Bed: Attach the heated print bed to the Y-axis carriage, ensuring it is secure and level.
  5. Install Extruder Assembly: Mount the direct drive extruder assembly to the X-axis gantry.
  6. Connect Electronics: Connect all cables to the mainboard following the color-coded wiring diagram.
  7. Level the Bed: Perform manual bed leveling using the leveling knobs and paper method.
  8. Test Run: Power on the printer and run the auto-leveling sequence, then perform a test print.
Warning: Ensure all electrical connections are secure before powering on. Keep hands away from moving parts during operation.

Key Features

Direct Drive Extruder

The integrated direct drive extruder provides better filament control, allowing for flexible filament printing and improved retraction performance.

Auto Bed Leveling

CR-Touch auto bed leveling sensor automatically measures bed flatness and compensates for uneven surfaces, ensuring perfect first layers every time.

Dual Z-Axis Screws

Dual Z-axis lead screws provide enhanced stability and precision, reducing gantry sag and improving print quality across the entire build plate.

PEI Magnetic Build Plate

Spring steel PEI build plate provides excellent adhesion during printing and easy removal of finished prints without tools.

Silent Mainboard

TMC2209 stepper drivers provide near-silent operation while maintaining precise motor control and smooth movement.

High-Speed Printing

Optimized kinematics and improved cooling allow for printing speeds up to 250mm/s without sacrificing print quality.

Printing Modes Explained

Standard Mode

Balanced speed and quality for everyday printing needs

High-Speed Mode

Optimized for rapid prototyping with slightly reduced detail

High-Quality Mode

Slower speeds for maximum detail and surface finish

Flexible Filament

Special settings for TPU and other flexible materials

ABS/Venting Mode

Optimized for high-temperature materials requiring enclosure

Silent Mode

Reduced speed for ultra-quiet operation during night hours

Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Printer won't power on Power switch off, loose cable, faulty power supply Check power switch, ensure all cables are secure, test outlet
Poor first layer adhesion Bed not level, wrong nozzle height, dirty build plate Re-level bed, adjust Z-offset, clean build surface
Filament not extruding Clogged nozzle, extruder gear slipping, wrong temperature Clean nozzle, check extruder tension, verify temperature
Layer shifting Belt tension, loose pulleys, overheating drivers Tighten belts, check pulley screws, improve cooling
Stringing/oozing Retraction settings, temperature too high, moist filament Adjust retraction, lower temperature, dry filament
Warping Bed temperature, cooling too fast, draft in room Increase bed temp, reduce cooling, use enclosure

Error Codes

  • E1: Hotend temperature error - Check thermistor connection
  • E2: Bed temperature error - Check bed thermistor
  • E3: Thermal runaway - Check heating elements and fans
  • E4: Power loss - Resume print or restart
  • E5: Filament runout - Load new filament
  • E6: Probe error - Check CR-Touch connection
