Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Printer won't start | Power issue, loose connections | Check power supply, ensure all cables are securely connected |
| Poor first layer adhesion | Bed not level, incorrect Z-offset, dirty bed | Re-level bed, adjust Z-offset, clean bed with isopropyl alcohol |
| Filament not extruding | Clogged nozzle, extruder gear slipping | Perform cold pull, clean nozzle, check extruder tension |
| Layer shifting | Belt tension, loose pulleys, overheating drivers | Tighten belts and pulleys, check motor currents, ensure cooling |
| Stringing/oozing | Temperature too high, retraction settings | Lower temperature, increase retraction distance and speed |
| Warping/corner lift | Bed temperature, cooling, ambient temperature | Increase bed temperature, reduce part cooling, use enclosure |
Error Codes
- E1: Hotend temperature error - Check thermistor and heating cartridge
- E2: Bed temperature error - Check bed thermistor and heater
- E3: Thermal runaway - Check cooling and temperature sensors
- E4: Power loss - Check power supply and connections
- E5: Filament runout - Replace or reload filament
