Key Features
Silent Motherboard
Equipped with TMC2208 stepper drivers for near-silent operation, reducing noise by 50% compared to previous models while maintaining precise movement control.
Carborundum Glass Bed
Upgraded textured glass build plate provides excellent adhesion during printing and easy removal once cooled, eliminating the need for additional adhesives.
Meanwell Power Supply
High-quality UL-certified power supply ensures stable voltage output and improved safety, with better heat dissipation and longer lifespan.
Dual Z-Axis System
Dual Z-axis lead screws with independent motors provide enhanced stability and precision, eliminating gantry sag for consistent layer quality.
Filament Runout Sensor
Automatically pauses printing when filament runs out, allowing for filament change and resuming from the exact stopping point.
Capricorn PTFE Tube
High-temperature Capricorn tubing reduces friction and prevents clogging, enabling smoother filament flow and higher temperature printing.
Printing Technology Explained
PLA Printing
Ideal for beginners, prints at 200-220°C with excellent detail and minimal warping
ABS Printing
Requires heated bed (80-100°C), offers strength and temperature resistance
PETG Printing
Combines PLA ease with ABS strength, excellent layer adhesion and durability
TPU Printing
Flexible filament printing with direct drive compatibility for elastic parts
High-Speed Mode
Optimized settings for faster prototyping with acceptable quality trade-offs
High-Quality Mode
Slower printing with maximum detail resolution for final products
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Printer won't start | Power switch off, loose cable, faulty power supply | Check power switch, secure all connections, test outlet |
| Poor bed adhesion | Unlevel bed, dirty surface, incorrect temperature | Re-level bed, clean with alcohol, adjust bed temperature |
| Filament not extruding | Clogged nozzle, extruder gear slip, low temperature | Clean nozzle, check extruder tension, increase temperature |
| Layer shifting | Loose belts, mechanical obstruction, overheating drivers | Tighten belts, check for obstructions, improve cooling |
| Stringing/oozing | High temperature, retraction settings, moist filament | Lower temperature, adjust retraction, dry filament |
| Warped corners | Uneven cooling, draft, bed temperature too low | Use enclosure, eliminate drafts, increase bed temperature |
Error Codes
- E1: Hotend temperature error - Check thermistor connection
- E2: Bed temperature error - Verify bed thermistor
- E3: Thermal runaway - Check heating elements and cooling
- E4: Power loss - Resume print from power recovery
- E5: Filament runout - Load new filament and resume
- E6: Overheating - Check fans and ventilation
