Printing Technology Explained

Input Shaping

Advanced algorithm that compensates for printer vibrations at high speeds

Pressure Advance

Controls filament pressure in the nozzle for sharp corners and clean details

Linear Advance

Improves extrusion accuracy during acceleration and deceleration

Resume Print Function

Automatically resumes printing after power loss or pause

Filament Runout Sensor

Detects when filament runs out and pauses printing automatically

Power Loss Recovery

Saves print progress in case of unexpected power interruption

Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Printer won't start Power issue, loose connections Check power supply, ensure all cables are securely connected
Poor first layer adhesion Bed not level, incorrect nozzle height Re-level bed, adjust Z-offset, clean build plate
Filament not extruding Nozzle clog, extruder gear issue Clean nozzle, check extruder tension, ensure filament path is clear
Layer shifting Belt tension, mechanical obstruction Check and adjust belt tension, ensure smooth movement of all axes
Stringing/oozing Temperature too high, retraction settings Lower temperature, adjust retraction distance and speed
Warped prints Bed temperature, cooling, adhesion Increase bed temperature, use enclosure, apply adhesive

Error Codes

  • E1: Hotend temperature error - Check thermistor connection
  • E2: Bed temperature error - Check bed thermistor
  • E3: Heating timeout - Check heating elements
  • E4: Thermal runaway - Emergency shutdown triggered
  • E5: Filament runout - Load new filament
  • E6: Homing error - Check endstops and movement
