Flexible, removable build plate makes print removal easy and minimizes damage to printed objects during removal.

Built-in Camera

Integrated camera allows remote monitoring of print progress via smartphone app or web interface.

Wi-Fi Connectivity

Wireless printing capability enables easy file transfer and remote control without USB cables or SD cards.

Auto-Leveling System

Automatic bed leveling ensures perfect first layer adhesion and consistent print quality without manual calibration.

Filament Detection

Built-in filament runout sensor pauses printing when filament is depleted, allowing for spool changes without failed prints.

Printing Technology Explained

FDM Technology

Fused Deposition Modeling uses thermoplastic filament melted and extruded layer by layer to create 3D objects.

Heated Build Plate

Maintains optimal temperature for different materials to prevent warping and improve adhesion.

Direct Drive Extruder

Provides precise filament control for flexible materials and complex prints with retraction.

Touch Screen Interface

Intuitive 3.5-inch color touch screen for easy operation, calibration, and monitoring.

Cloud Printing

Connect to Flashforge Cloud for remote file management and printer control from anywhere.

Safety Features

Thermal runaway protection, filament detection, and enclosed design for safe operation.

Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Printer won't start Power issue, faulty connection Check power supply, ensure all cables are securely connected
Poor print adhesion Unlevel bed, incorrect bed temperature Re-level print bed, adjust bed temperature for filament type
Filament not extruding Clogged nozzle, extruder gear issue Clean nozzle, check extruder gear tension, clear filament path
Layer shifting Belt tension, mechanical obstruction Check belt tension, ensure smooth movement of all axes
Stringing/oozing Retraction settings, temperature too high Adjust retraction settings, lower printing temperature
Wi-Fi connection issues Network configuration, distance from router Check network settings, move printer closer to router

Error Codes

  • E01: Heating failure - Check thermistor and heating cartridge
  • E02: Temperature sensor error - Verify thermistor connection
  • E03: Motor stall - Check for mechanical obstruction
  • E04: Filament runout - Replace or reload filament
  • E05: Over temperature - Allow printer to cool, check cooling fan
  • E06: Communication error - Restart printer and software
