Key Features

Fully Enclosed Design

The enclosed printing chamber maintains consistent temperature for better print quality with various materials including ABS, reducing warping and improving layer adhesion.

Automatic Bed Leveling

Built-in 9-point automatic bed leveling ensures perfect first layer adhesion every time, eliminating manual calibration and improving print success rate.

Removable Print Bed

The flexible, removable build plate allows for easy print removal and minimizes damage to prints during removal, increasing overall print quality.

Filament Detection

Integrated filament run-out sensor pauses printing when filament is depleted, allowing for filament replacement without losing the entire print job.

Cloud Printing

Wi-Fi enabled for remote monitoring and control via Flashforge Cloud or mobile app, allowing file upload, print monitoring, and control from anywhere.

Quiet Operation

Advanced stepper motor drivers and sound-dampening materials reduce operational noise to below 50 dB, making it suitable for office or home environments.

Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Printer won't start Power issue, emergency stop activated Check power supply, ensure emergency stop is released
Poor first layer adhesion Bed not level, incorrect bed temperature Run auto-leveling, adjust bed temperature, clean build surface
Filament not extruding Nozzle clogged, extruder gear slipping Clean nozzle, check extruder tension, ensure proper filament loading
Layer shifting Belt tension, mechanical obstruction Check belt tension, ensure smooth movement of all axes
Stringing/oozing Temperature too high, retraction settings Lower nozzle temperature, adjust retraction settings in slicer
Warping Bed temperature, cooling, ambient temperature Increase bed temperature, reduce cooling, use enclosure

Error Codes

  • E01: Temperature sensor error - Check thermistor connections
  • E02: Heating failure - Check heater cartridge and wiring
  • E03: Bed temperature error - Check bed thermistor
  • E04: Motor stall - Check for mechanical obstruction
  • E05: Filament runout - Replace or reload filament
  • E06: Communication error - Check USB/Wi-Fi connection
