Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Printer won't start Power issue, main switch off, faulty connection Check power supply, ensure main switch is on, check all connections
Poor first layer adhesion Bed not level, incorrect bed temperature, dirty build surface Re-level bed, adjust bed temperature, clean with isopropyl alcohol
Filament not extruding Nozzle clogged, extruder gear slipping, incorrect temperature Clean nozzle, check extruder tension, verify temperature settings
Print warping Bed temperature too low, draft in room, poor adhesion Increase bed temperature, close chamber door, use adhesion aids
Layer shifting Belt tension issues, mechanical obstruction, overheating drivers Check belt tension, ensure smooth movement, allow printer to cool
Stringing/oozing Retraction settings incorrect, temperature too high Adjust retraction settings, lower printing temperature

Error Codes

  • E01: Temperature sensor error - Check thermistor connections
  • E02: Heating failed - Check heater cartridge and wiring
  • E03: Over temperature - Allow printer to cool, check cooling fan
  • E04: Under temperature - Check heating elements and insulation
  • E05: Filament runout - Load new filament and resume
  • E06: Motor stall - Check for obstructions, reduce speed
  • E07: Bed leveling failed - Clean sensor, check wiring
  • E08: Communication error - Restart printer, check connections
