Installation Guide
Tools Needed:
- Hex wrenches (included)
- Screwdrivers (Phillips and flat)
- Spanner wrench
- Leveling gauge
- Pliers
Step-by-Step Installation
- Unbox and Check Components: Carefully unpack all parts and verify all components are present using the parts checklist.
- Assemble Frame: Connect the vertical aluminum extrusions to the base frame using the provided screws and brackets.
- Install X-axis Gantry: Mount the X-axis gantry to the vertical extrusions, ensuring it moves smoothly without binding.
- Install Print Bed: Attach the heated bed to the Y-axis carriage and secure with the provided springs and knobs.
- Install Extruder Assembly: Mount the extruder and hotend assembly to the X-axis gantry.
- Connect Electronics: Route and connect all cables to the main control board following the wiring diagram.
- Level the Bed: Perform manual bed leveling using the paper method to ensure proper first layer adhesion.
- Test Run: Power on the printer and run initial calibration tests to verify proper operation.

Key Features
Silent Mainboard
Equipped with TMC2208 silent stepper drivers, reducing operational noise to below 50dB for quiet printing even during overnight operations.
Carborundum Glass Bed
Upgraded glass build plate with textured carborundum surface provides excellent adhesion during printing and easy removal after cooling.
Meanwell Power Supply
High-quality UL-certified power supply ensures stable voltage output and improved safety during extended printing sessions.
4.3" Color Touchscreen
User-friendly color touch interface with intuitive menu navigation and real-time printing status display.
Resume Print Function
Automatically saves print progress in case of power failure, allowing printing to resume from the last recorded position.
Upgraded Extruder
Improved MK-8 extruder with aluminum alloy frame provides better filament feeding and reduced risk of clogging.
Printing Technologies Explained
FDM Printing
Fused Deposition Modeling melts thermoplastic filament and deposits it layer by layer to create 3D objects.
Auto Bed Leveling
Optional BLTouch sensor enables automatic bed leveling for consistent first layer adhesion.
Filament Detection
Optional filament runout sensor pauses printing when filament is exhausted, preventing failed prints.
OctoPrint Support
Compatible with OctoPrint for remote monitoring and control via web interface.
Custom Firmware
Supports Marlin firmware customization for advanced features and performance tuning.
Multi-material Printing
Capable of printing with various materials including PLA, ABS, PETG, TPU, and wood-filled filaments.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Printer won't power on | Power switch off, loose cable, faulty power supply | Check power switch, secure all connections, test power supply |
| Poor bed adhesion | Unlevel bed, dirty surface, incorrect bed temperature | Re-level bed, clean with isopropyl alcohol, adjust bed temperature |
| Extruder clicking | Nozzle clog, extruder tension too tight, filament jam | Clean nozzle, adjust extruder tension, check for filament obstructions |
| Layer shifting | Loose belts, stepper motor issues, printing too fast | Tighten belts, check motor connections, reduce print speed |
| Stringing/oozing | Retraction settings incorrect, temperature too high | Adjust retraction distance and speed, lower printing temperature |
| Warped prints | Insufficient bed heating, cooling too fast, draft | Increase bed temperature, use enclosure, reduce cooling fan speed |
Common Error Codes
- E1: Hotend temperature too high - Check thermistor and heating cartridge
- E2: Hotend temperature too low - Check heating element and wiring
- E3: Bed temperature too high - Check bed thermistor
- E4: Bed temperature too low - Check bed heating element
- E5: Thermal runaway detected - Check all thermal components
- E6: Filament runout - Replace or insert filament
