Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Printer won't start | Power issue, emergency stop activated | Check power supply, ensure emergency stop is released |
| Poor first layer adhesion | Bed not level, wrong bed temperature, dirty surface | Run auto-leveling, adjust bed temperature, clean with isopropyl alcohol |
| Filament not extruding | Nozzle clogged, extruder gear slipping | Perform cold pull, check extruder tension, clean nozzle |
| Layer shifting | Belt tension, mechanical obstruction, overheating drivers | Check belt tension, ensure smooth movement, improve cooling |
| Stringing/oozing | Retraction settings, temperature too high | Adjust retraction distance and speed, lower nozzle temperature |
| Warping | Bed temperature, chamber temperature, draft | Increase bed temperature, close chamber door, use enclosure |
Error Codes
- E01: Thermal runaway - Check heater and thermistor connections
- E02: Bed heating failure - Verify bed heater connection
- E03: Hotend heating failure - Check hotend heater and thermistor
- E04: Filament runout - Load new filament or bypass sensor
- E05: XYZ homing error - Check endstops and mechanical movement
- E06: Over-temperature - Allow printer to cool, check cooling system
