Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Printer won't start Power issue, emergency stop activated Check power supply, ensure emergency stop is released
Poor first layer adhesion Bed not level, wrong bed temperature, dirty surface Run auto-leveling, adjust bed temperature, clean with isopropyl alcohol
Filament not extruding Nozzle clogged, extruder gear slipping Perform cold pull, check extruder tension, clean nozzle
Layer shifting Belt tension, mechanical obstruction, overheating drivers Check belt tension, ensure smooth movement, improve cooling
Stringing/oozing Retraction settings, temperature too high Adjust retraction distance and speed, lower nozzle temperature
Warping Bed temperature, chamber temperature, draft Increase bed temperature, close chamber door, use enclosure

Error Codes

  • E01: Thermal runaway - Check heater and thermistor connections
  • E02: Bed heating failure - Verify bed heater connection
  • E03: Hotend heating failure - Check hotend heater and thermistor
  • E04: Filament runout - Load new filament or bypass sensor
  • E05: XYZ homing error - Check endstops and mechanical movement
  • E06: Over-temperature - Allow printer to cool, check cooling system
